Honghuaggang Mausoleum of the 72 Martyrs

Honghuaggang

Mausoleum

of the 72 Martyrs

Martyrdom sounds distant in this fairly peaceful place, but its spirit has always stayed close to everyone of us.  And Its physical presence is dearly found  in Honhuagang Mausoleum of the 72 martyres, also called the Honghuagang Park, build for our 72  heroes who sacrificed in the 329 revolution led by Our founding father of the Republic of China, Mr. Sun Yat-sen.

While the imposing mausoleum of the magnificent warriors calls for our hot-bloodedness to strive for freedom and democracy, its solemn atmosphere brings us back to their glorious and fearless past of the unprecedented dauntless revolution in China.  Though it is where our most respectful martyrs lie, it is where our youthful and fiery aspirations grow.
