Canton Tower

Canton Tower

Canton Tower, also known as Guangzhou New TV tower, is a multi-purposes observatory tower for sightseeing, dining, cultural entertainment and general green education. It is the landmark which represents Lingnam culture and the ethos of an international cosmopolitan.
Canton tower stands at the intersection of the new city axis as well as the Pearl River view axis, right opposite HaixinSha and ZhuJiang New Town, overlooking Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou library, and Guangzhou No. 2 Children's Palace. With height about 600 metre tall, Canton Tower has now become Guangzhou’s No. 1 TV Tower, physically embodying Guangzhou people’s competitive and aspiring boldness.
Canton Tower is formed by 2 eclipses that cause a twist, of which the tightened centre looks like the small waist of a vibrant youthful girl looking back sentimentally. The tower is divided into 5 districts, with restaurants and malls at district A, and the longest spiral stairway at district D. At district E, you may situate yourself at the best sightseeing spot of the tower, enjoying the panoramic view of Guangzhou city at the 2-storey observatory lounge which takes the theme of white clouds and stars, where the world’s tallest crystal Ferris Wheel and the most exotic revolving restaurant are also found. There is also a speeding elevator in the tower which drops from 500metre above the ground, showcasing the technological accomplishments as well as the research and development of Guangzhou.
New Landmark, New Height, Canton Tower brings you a whole new perspective of Guangzhou.
